Yes please.

Nacho Polo
I'm saying yes to the interiors just as much as this designer's name.
First seen on desire to inspire

Mrs. Meyer's Clean Home

Over at rummey bears.

How cute is this post on rummey bears. I love her baby belly!

It is summer right now in Australia where the blog is written from. The pictures of the beach along with the warm water and bright sun make me feel like getting on a plane and heading south for the winter. If only it weren't so cold here!

A little something.

I really like this drawing by Hope Gangloff.

Me at twelve.

Would you look at that blond hair!
I found this when I was cleaning out my gmail, and thought it should be shared. It's from one of my first photo shoots way back when.

Clocks, clocks, clocks.

Our house is pretty devoid of clocks, except for our awesome math one with equations for each number. All of these and more from Fey Handmade would definitely do the trick.

A pretty place to sit and eat.

Residence

Over at Desire to Inspire today, there was a post all about small dining areas. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Oh, Peonies.

These floral arrangements from Brooklyn based Saipua has me wanting a big garden of lovelies to pick from and take inside.

They also make me want to do floral arrangements. Going to the big wholesale flower market in the morning is so amazing, I would love to do it everyday!

Why didn't anyone tell me?

Honey yogurt??
I have been putting honey into plain yogurt for I don't know how long. Needless to say, I'm pretty excited about Greek Gods yogurt already flavored with honey. I wonder if that good tanginess is still there, along with the sweetness. That might be a deal breaker.

Got the info and the picture from {my little corner of the world}.

It's been a while.

I haven't been here much lately. I found out that the entrance exam to get into the interior design program for next fall is due on January 11th, (yes that's right, in 7 days), so I've been drawing and writing and putting together my resume like crazy for the last week. Right now I'm working on a visual narrative to explain how to change a flat tire on a car. Right up my alley! Not.

This cold weather has really been beating me down. Rudy told me today that I need to squat down like a caveman over the heater every time it comes on. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm almost to that point. Basically I just want to turn on our electric blanket and stay in bed all day. Good thing our computer, (which we watch TV and movies on), isn't in our room, or I might just forget about interior design school and stay warm instead.

I will say though that the snow is magic. Yesterday it was sunny out and all the snow was twinkling like glitter. I guess you have to take the good with the bad huh?

Lastly, I'm really excited for our homegroup to start up again tonight with a white elephant gift exchange! The presents Rudy and I are bringing are pretty much amazing. I'll let you know what I come home with tonight.
